Hello my name is Dan, 

I’m currently training to become a qualified electrician, self-funding my 18th Edition, Inspection and Testing, and Part P qualifications. With a strong work ethic built through my time in the military and experience working with various construction companies, I bring discipline, reliability, and hands-on support to every project. Since 2007 I have worked in projects, managing and leading teams of data center engineers, telecom technicians and software developers. That exposure to high quality delivery has made me efficient with my time, client focused, and able to delivery professionally. I plan methodically, understand client requirements, and aim to exceed their expectations. Although my day job has been office-based for a while now, I’ve dedicated my evenings, weekends, and spare time to theory and practical training through a reputable provider. I have a passion for site work, problem-solving, and gaining experience in a variety of environments.

I’m especially interested in fire safety systems, industrial and commercial electrical systems, renewable systems, software integration for monitoring and prevention purposes. Inspection and testing specialisms. 

To develop my skills, I’m currently completing a range of qualifications, including;

• LCL Awards Domestic Electrical Installer (DEI)
• Level 3 Certificate in Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings
• Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations
• Level 3 Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
• Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations
• Periodic Inspection, Testing & Certification.

With these qualifications and practical experience, I’m well-positioned to support a variety of electricians:

With a strong interest in fire safety systems and CCTV, I can assist with installations, testing, and inspections, ensuring systems are compliant and reliable. From cable routing to final system testing, I’ll support every stage to help deliver secure and effective installations.

I’m training to support larger-scale projects, including cable management, conduit runs, and power distribution. I can help improve on-site efficiency and assist with crucial testing and certification tasks, ensuring everything runs smoothly and complies with industry standards.
